22h  · Last year, the Ely Stage Coach Stop and County Museum celebrated its 10th anniversary. To recognize this achievement, I stopped by to present a Congressional certificate and a United States flag that was flown over the Capitol to the Lake County Historical Society Board members.Thank you for hosting me and here’s to the next 10 years!

This is in honor of the current display of the painting and Pomo cultural life featured at the de Young Museum in San Francisco between now and April 17th.

A life-size replica of the painting will be on-hand. If you can’t make it to San Francisco, come to the Ely on Feb. 12th to see and hear about Tavernier’s best work of art
